UTI originated as the International Business Division of Uemura Seisakujo Co., Ltd.. In 2013, it was spun off and established as a separate entity called "Uemura Shoji Co., Ltd.," integrating the manufacturing and trading functions of the Uemura Group. Three years later, it underwent a name change to the current "" and has steadily built trust and a track record in the defense industry. However, we continue to strive for further growth and success by continuously refining our expertise and knowledge.
Building upon the wisdom accumulated within the Uemura Group and our unwavering commitment to quality in manufacturing as a foundation, we aim to bring the world's most advanced technologies to Japan and share Japan's manufacturing expertise with the world.

- Uemura Seisakujo Co., Ltd. established its International Business Division.
- 2013
- Uemura Shoji was established as a result of spin-off of International Business Division of Uemura Seisakujo.
- 2017
- Renamed itself as UTI and established the headquarter in Osaka.
